Repairing a product will earn you an extra year of warranty under new UOKiK rules

Poland's consumer protection office UOKiK is preparing a bill implementing the EU's right-to-repair directive. Consumers who choose to repair a product rather than discard it will receive an extra year of statutory warranty. The government is expected to pass the draft and send it to parliament in the fourth quarter of this year.
