Germans no longer see Poland as an inferior neighbour and envy its reforms

German journalist Jan Puhl of Der Spiegel told PAP that Germans who have come to know Poland increasingly envy its dynamic economy and reforms. Germany still knows France and Spain better than Poland, but the image of Poland as an "inferior neighbour" is fading. Puhl says Poland's image in Germany is improving, though general knowledge about the country remains limited among the broader German public.
