Djokovic needed medical assistance and lost to Tirante in three sets in Cincinnati

Novak Djokovic has been eliminated from the Cincinnati ATP 1000 tournament after a three-set defeat to Thiago Agustin Tirante, ranked 50th in the world. The 39-year-old Serbian won the opening set but then required medical attention during the match and at one point fell to his knees on court. Despite treatment, he could not turn the match around and exits the Ohio event.
