Paris mandates helmets and reflective gear for e-scooter riders from 7 August

Paris has tightened rules for riders of electric scooters, Segways and hoverboards. From 7 August, all users of these vehicles are required to wear a helmet and clothing with reflective elements. The new regulations aim to improve road safety in the French capital.
