Wegner finishes fourth in javelin at European Athletics Championships

Dawid Wegner narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth in the javelin throw at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham. Compatriot Marcin Krukowski placed seventh. Germany's Julian Weber won gold ahead of fellow German Nick Thumm and Latvia's Patriks Gailums.
