Wasick wins European gold in 50m freestyle with Polish record of 23.84s

Katarzyna Wasick won gold at the European Swimming Championships in Paris in the 50m freestyle event. She clocked 23.84 seconds, setting a new Polish record in the process. After the race, Wasick said the victory was the fulfilment of her greatest dream.
