Hefner reported Epstein to FBI in 2005 — agency took no action
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner repeatedly contacted the FBI in 2005 to report sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein, according to a lawsuit filed by the financier's victims and cited by the New York Post. Despite the tip-offs, the FBI took no action at the time. Epstein was not prosecuted until, when he received a plea deal for soliciting prostitution from a minor.
