South Korea proposes talks with North Korea to end 76-year-old war

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung proposed on Saturday that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un begin talks to formally end the 76-year-old Korean War. Seoul wants the negotiations to also address the denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula. North Korea has not yet responded to the proposal.
