Syrian convicted in Austria of war crimes detained after returning to Syria

Musab Abu Rukbah, a former police chief sentenced in Austria to eight years in prison for crimes committed during Syria's civil war, left Austria after appealing his sentence. He was subsequently detained by authorities upon returning to Syria.
