Economist: mass mobilisation in Russia will trigger an uprising and end Putin's rule

Economist and sociologist Vladislav Inozemtsev argues that Russia's "deathnomics" model — recruiting volunteers with high pay — is running out of steam as military setbacks mount and fewer men sign up. He warns that a full-scale mobilisation would be a political catastrophe for the Kremlin, likely triggering a social uprising that could end Putin's rule. Russia, he says, faces a dilemma with no good exit.
