Huge fire at waste facility in Chlewnica — 100 firefighters deployed

A serious fire broke out Saturday at the waste management facility in Chlewnica, Słupsk County, Pomerania. Flames engulfed three halls, and around 100 firefighters from 28 units were deployed to battle the blaze. Smoke rising from the site is visible from several kilometres away, and local authorities are urging residents to keep windows and doors tightly shut.
