Iceland deadlocked 46-46 before EU membership referendum

A Gallup poll published by the newspaper Morgunbladit shows supporters and opponents of resuming EU membership talks in Iceland are tied at 46% each. The referendum is scheduled for 29 August. Iceland has long held candidate status but negotiations were previously suspended.
