TV licence inspection: not watching TV doesn't exempt you from paying the fee

RTV licence inspectors are increasingly visiting Polish households to check compliance. Simply owning a radio or TV set is enough to trigger the obligation to pay the fee, regardless of whether the device is actually used. Inspectors verify the presence of receiving equipment, and failure to register can result in a financial penalty.
