Oversized beach windbreaks on the Baltic can cost you a fine

Setting up windbreaks on Polish beaches is legal, but lawyer Marcin Kruszewski warns that blocking off excessive amounts of space can constitute a public order offence and lead to a fine. Disputes with other beachgoers can escalate to intervention by authorities. This is one of several pitfalls holidaymakers on the Baltic coast should be aware of.
