Laura Siegemund suspends her tennis career on the eve of US Open

German tennis player Laura Siegemund, a former US Open doubles and mixed doubles champion, has announced she is suspending her career just days before the start of this year's US Open. In a social media post she wrote: "I just want to rest, recover mentally and physically, and then see what the future brings."
