Poles hold over 456 billion zloty in cash — up 16% year on year
At the end of the first quarter of this year, Poles held more than 456 billion zloty in cash, according to data from the Polish Development Fund. That represents an increase of over 16 percent compared to the same period last year, pointing to a continued strong preference for holding money outside the banking system.
