John Porter turns 76 and still without Polish citizenship

American-born musician John Porter, who has lived in Poland for many years, celebrates his 76th birthday on 15 August. Despite having three children in Poland and considering the country his home, he has not yet received Polish citizenship. "They'll have to ask me," he said, commenting on the situation with characteristic calm.
