Magnitude-5.0 earthquake hits Andalusia, triggering landslides and building damage in Granada

A magnitude-5.0 earthquake struck the province of Granada in Spain's Andalusia region during the night of 14–15 August. The tremor triggered landslides, caused building damage and led to localised power outages. Emergency lines were flooded with calls from residents.
