Taliban marks 5 years in power with over 100 decrees stripping women's rights

The Taliban on Saturday marked the fifth anniversary of their return to power in Afghanistan. Since 2021 they have issued more than 100 decrees drastically curtailing women's rights and have consolidated their grip on the country. The United Nations has described Taliban policies as "gender apartheid."
