Deporting draft-age Ukrainians would harm Poland, commentator warns
Commentator Piotr Skwieciński argues that MEP Tobiasz Bocheński's proposal to deport unemployed draft-age Ukrainians from Poland is politically shrewd but harmful to Polish interests on every other level. He contends the idea plays well in polls but would damage the economy, Poland's international standing and its security. Skwieciński concludes that if enacted, the policy would clearly work against Poland's own interests.
