Prof. Flis: PiS collapse strips the ruling coalition of its key electoral engine

Sociologist Prof. Jarosław Flis of the Jagiellonian University argues that fear of PiS was one of the main pillars of Civic Platform's electoral success. With PiS fragmenting, using Jarosław Kaczyński as a bogeyman will no longer be an effective tool to mobilise voters for the ruling coalition. Flis adds that the coalition's other electoral engines are also losing momentum or running out of fuel.
