LOT: jet fuel now accounts for 40% of costs, up from the usual 25%

The share of jet fuel in LOT Polish Airlines' total costs has risen to around 40%, compared with the usual 25%, Deputy Infrastructure Minister Piotr Malepszak told parliament in response to a written question. The increase is driven by the conflict in the Middle East pushing up fuel prices.
