American missionary Kevin Rideout freed after nine months held in Niger

Kevin Rideout, a missionary with Serving in Mission International, has been freed nine months after being kidnapped by unknown assailants in Niamey, Niger, in October. His organisation confirmed he is in good health and in the care of US officials. He is expected to be reunited with his family soon.
