Widow's pension to rise — second benefit share jumps from 14% to 25%

From the new year, ZUS (Poland's Social Insurance Institution) will increase the share of the second benefit within the widow's pension from 14% to 25%. Around one million people receive this benefit. The total payout will still be subject to a set financial cap.
