Kraken parent Payward revenue up 17% in Q2 despite lower crypto trading volume

Payward, the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, reported a 17% revenue increase in Q2 despite weaker crypto spot trading activity. Funded accounts jumped 42%, and a growing share of income came from non-transaction-based sources. The results suggest the exchange is successfully diversifying its revenue streams.
