Ontario court clears province to remove Toronto bike lanes on busy streets
Ontario's top court ruled Friday that the provincial government can remove bike lanes from Toronto's busiest streets, overturning a lower court ruling that had found removal would violate constitutional rights. The decision is a major win for Premier Doug Ford, who has long blamed protected bike lanes for the city's traffic problems. The province may now proceed with the removals.
