Archaeologists find 11,000-year-old houses at Göbekli Tepe in Turkey

Archaeologists at Göbekli Tepe in south-eastern Turkey have uncovered rectangular buildings dated to the site's second settlement phase, approximately 11,000 years ago. Preliminary findings suggest the structures may have served as dwellings. The discovery adds to understanding of one of humanity's oldest known architectural sites.
