Russian economist: Russia cannot win the economic war of attrition

Andrei Klepach, chief economist of Russia's Vnesheconombank, stated that Russia cannot win the economic "war of attrition" against Ukraine given Western support, according to the independent Moscow Times. He warned that Russia's costs are rising and exceed the country's capacity for a long-term confrontation with the West.
