Świątek to play Arango after Venus Williams exits Cincinnati

Venus Williams was beaten by qualifier Emiliana Arango and has exited the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati. The Colombian will now face Iga Świątek in the second round. Świątek enters as defending champion and one of the favourites for the title.
