Poland's RCB emergency alerts to ring phones directly — changes due this year

Deputy Prime Minister and digitalisation minister Krzysztof Gawkowski announced that Poland's Government Security Centre (RCB) alert system will be overhauled by the end of the year. The key change is that phones will ring audibly during emergencies rather than just displaying a text message. Gawkowski stressed that the phone should be the primary means of reaching citizens in a crisis.
