'Mandalorian & Grogu' hits Disney+ on Sept. 2 — 103 days after theatrical debut

Disney has confirmed that Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu will begin streaming globally on Disney+ on September 2, exactly 103 days after its theatrical release. The Jon Favreau-directed film opened Memorial Day weekend with a $167 million global debut. Despite that strong opening, it ranks as the lowest-grossing Star Wars theatrical release to date.
