Hurkacz beats Shimabukuro 6-2, 6-4 to advance at Cincinnati Masters

Hubert Hurkacz defeated Japan's Sho Shimabukuro 6-2, 6-4 in the first round of the ATP Masters 1000 in Cincinnati. The 29-year-old Pole broke his opponent early in both sets and never looked troubled. He will next face 18th seed Tommy Paul.
