Google lets users remove visible watermark from AI-generated images

Google is introducing a setting that allows users to remove the visible watermark from images generated by its AI tools. Turning off the visible mark will not affect the invisible SynthID benchmark, which continues to identify files as AI-generated. The change applies only to the visual indicator, leaving the hidden verification system intact.
