Three US executions in one day — first time since 2010

Three death row inmates were executed on the same day in Tennessee, Oklahoma and Alabama, each by lethal injection. It is the first time since 2010 that three US executions have taken place on a single day. The rare occurrence has drawn renewed attention to the use of capital punishment in the United States.
