Flood scandal: KARR head and supervisory board dismissed by regional authorities
The Lower Silesian regional government dismissed Hubert Papaj, head of the Karkonoska Agency for Regional Development (KARR), along with its entire supervisory board over the so-called "flood scandal". The case concerns suspected irregularities in the distribution of financial aid following the 2024 flood. The dismissals are the latest personnel changes at the agency following investigations by the authorities.
