Warsaw: 4,000 evacuated as sappers remove over 50 WWII shells near Grzybowska Street
Unexploded World War II ordnance was discovered near Grzybowska Street in Warsaw, prompting the evacuation of around 4,000 residents. Police secured the area while army sappers recovered more than 50 artillery shells. The operation required a large-scale security cordon in central Warsaw.
