US courts to publish how often judges authorize government spyware use
The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts told TechCrunch it will begin publicly disclosing how many times judges have authorized government use of spyware to wiretap suspected criminals. This marks the first transparency initiative of its kind in the American justice system.
