Ireland tightens checks on private crypto wallets in new AML strategy

Ireland has published its first-ever anti-money laundering (AML) strategy, introducing enhanced checks on private cryptocurrency wallets. The strategy also imposes stricter due diligence requirements on firms dealing with overseas crypto companies.
