Forbes top editor fired after accepting $6m from magazine's business partner

Randall Lane left Forbes last month and was reportedly dismissed after accepting $6 million from RJ Shook, whose company Shook Research has worked with Forbes since 2016 to publish wealth adviser rankings. The payment came after Shook sold a majority stake in his company to a private equity firm. The New York Times broke the story this week.
