Bird remains in engine — NTSB preliminary report on Ryanair window blowout

The US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released a preliminary report on the Ryanair incident in which a 61-year-old passenger was partially sucked out through a shattered window. Bird remains were found in the damaged engine, suggesting a bird strike as a possible cause of the window failure.
