FDA approves Bristol Myers Squibb's iberdomide — a new drug class for multiple myeloma
The US Food and Drug Administration has approved iberdomide (brand name: Zenbexus), made by Bristol Myers Squibb, for advanced multiple myeloma. It is the first drug from a novel therapeutic class cleared for this blood cancer, used alongside Darzalex and dexamethasone in patients who have had at least one prior line of therapy. It is also the first drug the FDA approved using a more sensitive measure of remission.
