Insulin pumps on public funding for adults over 26 in Poland — patients worry about eligibility criteria

Poland's Ministry of Health plans to remove the age limit on publicly funded personal insulin pumps, previously restricted to patients under 26. The change would cover an estimated 3,232 patients with type 1 or type 3 diabetes, but they must meet at least one of five specified criteria. Many patients fear they will not qualify and are voicing concern online.
