Historian: IPN justified a communist crime — Nawrocki exploited it for political gain

Prominent historian Prof. Grzegorz Motyka accuses the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) of having justified a communist crime — paradoxically, the very institution created to prosecute such crimes. He argues that then-IPN chief Karol Nawrocki deliberately exploited Polish-Ukrainian historical tensions to build his electoral capital. Nawrocki is now President of Poland.
