Drone crashes and explodes in Romania 5 km from Ukrainian border

On Friday 14 August, a drone crashed near the village of Luncavița in Romania's Tulcea county, approximately 5 km from the Ukrainian border, then exploded and started a fire. Emergency services learned of the incident through a call to the emergency number. Romania's Ministry of Defence explained why the object was not detected by radar systems.
