European Public Prosecutor's Office opens probe into flood loan scandal

The European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) has opened an investigation into flood loans granted by the Karkonosze Regional Development Agency (KARR) in Poland. The EPPO press office in Luxembourg confirmed the probe to the news outlet Wirtualna Polska. Following the investigation's launch, the agency's director and entire supervisory board were dismissed.
