Webb telescope discovers "black star" — a brand-new type of cosmic object

Astronomers have discovered a previously unknown type of cosmic object — dubbed a "black star" — using the James Webb Space Telescope. The object is roughly the size of the Solar System, behaves like a black hole, and glows with a vivid red light. Nothing like it had been observed before.
