Polish writer Manuela Gretkowska reveals she receives near-zero pension after 30 years

Polish writer Manuela Gretkowska has revealed that her pension, calculated after around 30 years of literary work, amounts to almost nothing. Speaking to NaTemat, she said bitterly: "I'm entitled to nothing — for my country I'm a freeloader." She argued that cultural contributions are entirely invisible to Poland's pension system.
