Ex-Tusk minister eyes Constitutional Tribunal seat; Sasin slams opposition hypocrisy
Former minister Maciej Berek, a figure from Donald Tusk's government, is seeking a seat on Poland's Constitutional Tribunal. PiS MP Jacek Sasin said on Radio ZET he sees nothing wrong with politicians joining the Tribunal if they are qualified, but accused the ruling coalition of hypocrisy. He noted the same parties that now back Berek loudly opposed PiS appointments of Krystyna Pawłowicz and Stanisław Piotrowicz to the court.
