ECB: only 0.2% of euro-area online merchants accept crypto payments
The European Central Bank found that crypto payments are accepted by just 0.2% of online merchants in the euro area, with physical points of sale remaining below 1% acceptance. The ECB report also noted that mobile payments are gaining ground across the region. The findings underline how marginal cryptocurrency remains as a retail payment method in Europe.
