Fuel prices may drop by PLN 1/litre, but no new CPN subsidy programme

eToro analyst Paweł Majtkowski told TVN24 that fuel prices in Poland could fall by up to PLN 1 per litre in the near future. He ruled out further editions of the government's Ceny Paliwa Niżej subsidy programme, saying Poland cannot afford it. The government would only restart support if geopolitical escalation pushed crude oil prices above $100 per barrel.
